Pink Saturday.

Pink Saturday is hosted by Beverly from How sweet the sound. Thank you Beverly .
I found some  pictures of these beautiful pink blossoms in my files..  Made these two weeks ago.  Sadly all blossoms are gone by now. We have had a warm and early spring so everything was blooming a bit  too early.
Happy pink Saturday and happy Mothers day.

Hello Riet, I am so happy to have some time to visit you this weekend. Your photos in the mosaic are gorgeous. I adore the smell of lilacs. They were my mother's favorite flower. I too wish the spring flowers would last longer. They bloom and are gone way too quickly. We had some bad storms and lots of wind. The blooms just fell and were gone. Summer blooms will follow soon.

Have a wonderful Mother's Day.
Hugs, Jeanne

I too would love to see Spring flowers last much longer. Especially with the weather this year would we could always do without too. Beautiful photos you have shared with us today. Have a blessed weekend.

Absolutely gorgeous! Our spring here in the Eastern US has been sooooooo slow in coming. Everything is just starting to bud now.

Happy PS,

I can only admire these lilac blossoms from afar..sigh. Here in my world we have had a lazy late Spring..no lilacs bloom yet..so perhaps in the moth of may!
A lovley entry to PS!

These blossoms look like lilacs to me - one of my favorite spring flowers. Too bad the blooms don't last longer. Our gardenias were in full bloom for about two weeks, but are now almost through for the season, sigh..

Hi Riet!
Happy Pink Saturday and Mother's day weekend!

My lilacs are still blooming and smell so good.

Lieve groet, Marja

When asked what is the one color of spring, I'd answer pink. Spring flowers are fleeting, but they will resurrect next year and fill us with fresh pleasure again. Have a nice week.
